I have this 'junk' Dell with Windows XP Home. Just after
choosing which profile I want to log in under I get a
blue screen with stop 0x08. I can boot into safe mode
and once was able to boot in vga mode. I have updated
the video driver, tried to boot in diagnostic mode with
no luck. Ran chkdsk and repaired the volume. Tried
doing a repair of Windows but I don't get a repair
option, only install on current partion (install over the
top)or create new partition. I also got a different
error once which was stop 0x0a irql_not_less_or_equal.
Last known good only gives me stop 0x7b. I really don't
want to rebuild this machine. Any suggestions? Thanks
in advance.

GIVE IT TO YOUR BROTHER OR GIRLFRIEND.
DON'T KEEP IT, COMPUTER PARTS EASILY BECOME USELESS.
MAYBE YOU CAN TRY LINUX ON IT.

I MEAN YOU CAN'T KEEP IT FOR SOMEDAY IF YOU NEED A PART OF IT. TOO MANY
THINGS ARE STANDARD RESTRICTED.
