Windows XP Home Wireless Network-Printer Sharing

Hello and thanks in advance for your help.

My question appears to be common here, but I cannot find the right answer. I
am running a windows XP PC (sp2), a windows xp (sp2) laptop with a wireless
card, cable modem, to the wireless router (D-Link 614), the PC is wired to
the router. Laptop connects to the internet, no problem.

I keep running the wireless network wizard, but nothing works as far as file
or printer sharing. The printer is set for sharing. Previous feedback said to
change firewall info, but that appears to refer to pre sp2 systems. I am not
even sure if my network is set up.

I try to add a network printer to the laptop (it is connected to the pc). It
browses for the printer, lists "Home" (my network name) and then below the
"family", the PC name, but does not list the printer.

One more thing, I ran the wizard several times, then also tried to set up
the network using a USB dirve, when it says to plug the USB drive into each
system, including the wireless router. however, my router does not have a USB
port, so I could not do that step.

What can I do to share the printer?

Hope I explained without being too wordy. The help I get here is always
useful, thanks for taking the time.

Woopps, Okay,

My McAffee firewall was the issue.

Gat past that, Found the printer on the laptop, sent an Item to print, shows
that it is printing, but nothing is happening. The printer prints from the
PC, no problem.

Ideas to print over the network?
