Call Dell customer service. Since the CD is an OEM version supplied
by Dell, they're the ones you need to contact for a replacement unless
you want to buy a retail version of XP.

Hi Mike,

As long as you have the Product Key (this should be affixed to your Dell
case), you should be able to borrow a CD from someone and make a copy.

If you ever need to re-install and activate, it's the Product Key that is
unique, not the XP Installation CD.

The product key though may well be associated with the specific version
of Setup that comes with Dell machines and CDs. Borrowing a CD from
another Dell owner and using the Key from the label on the case will be
fine, but it probably will not work with a retail CD

Take better care of your disks and you won't have that problem.
