was having a problem with computer turning on my screen that is now fixed but now when i bring up my computer it says cmos checksum error defaults loaded how can i fix this as i belive this is why my system is shuting its self down

This error can be caused by any of the following:

1. Incorrectly configured BIOS settings, caused by flashing the BIOS or by
user inexperience.
2. Turning off the computer without shutting down Windows; this can corrupt
the BIOS.
3. Password cracking software that you have allowed onto your computer. For

The BIOS cannot be corrupted by turning off the computer no matter what is
running or loaded. How did you come to the conclusion that shutting off the
computer without shutting down Windows can cause corruption?
