I have Windows XP Prof. loaded on my personal computer.
I have track down the svchost.exe loaded in the Windows Task Manager that
caused my computer to hang.

There are four or five instances of the svchost.exe loaded in the Task
Manager.

How can I find the corrupt svchost.exe and make sure it's not loaded at
startup.

Thanks,

Does that svchost process consume a very high % of cpu (on the performance
tab of taskmanager)?
If so, you may have a case of a virus.
Google for "svchost 100%"
