I update my computer regularly and it works normally but if I leave it
on unused for several hours the start button migrates to the top left
corner and the tray also migrates and overlays the start button. The
computer will not respond to the mouse or keyboard and pressing
control/Alt/delete causes the screen to flash and sometimes removes
screen icons but does not change anything. Only pressing the start
button and turning the computer off will cause it to start again
normally. I have also noticed that in control panel/ internet options/
browsing history settings/view objects ( which are active X) right
click on properties and dependency it always reports that all
dependant files are damaged.Does this mean anything?

No screen saver running,or hibernation during the hours of inactivity....
If hibernation is active, thiers a fix for that:909095 If standby is
used,try:
914029 Other than that, open event viewer for system details.
