Windows XP Formatting

I recently found out that my computer that had a virus and I was told that
the only way to get rid of the virus is ro reformat my computer but the
problem is my computer didnt come with any disks. All my programs were
pre-installed. Can someone help me or explain the steps to reformat my
computer.
 
Contact whomever you purchased the system from. They are responsible to
ensure you have a way to recover XP. This means that you are supposed to get
copies of all software installed or a Recovery Disk which will take you back
to the state the system was in at time of purchase.
