Windows XP for development

I want to know if Windows XP is a recommended platform for windows
application development using vc6. What are its advantages n disadvantages
compared to development on Win2k ?

Assume there are two machines. One machine has winxp and the other has win2k.
If you want to install vc6 on one of the systems to setup the developement

I believe that what Kelly meant is that you should ask this question in a
newsgroup for developers, particularly one for developers using the same
application as you. This newsgroup is for questions regarding the Windows
XP operating system, so is not the right place for you to get good answers.
