Windows XP Firewall Question

Hi

We have about 4,000 pcs on our LAN and some of them have the XP Firewall
switched on. We are trying to run a software audit on our machines and the
firewall is not letting the audit software through.

Is there a way to tell all these machines with the firewall on to either
allow this audit software through, or switch the firewall off which is our
preference.

thanks

Hi,

You may want to look at the Word document WF_XPSP2.doc "Deploying
Windows Firewall Settings for Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2"
that is downloadable from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...e1-61fa-447a-bdcd-499f73a637d1&displaylang=en
