Window's xp/explorer

For some reason the size of the "window" that appears on
my screen is about half the normal size - I have to
double click to make it full size - this has just started
to happen. Anyone tell me how to cause the windows to
appear full size automatically?

Try dragging the borders to full-screen size. Then hold down the <shift>
key while closed the window with FILE|EXIT.
