Windows XP error msg: "Object doesn't support this property or met

I'm trying to access my job website from my home computer and I keep getting
this error message: "object doesn't support this property or method" when I
try and login into my job's website. I was told to delete some XP Windows
security patches because this was the problem why I didn't have access...but
this failed also. Can someone tell me how I may be able to login into my
job's website...I'm suppose to be able to work from home. Thanks.

If you could post the entire runtime error it may be helpful for us to
diagnose. In the meantime try the following, then reboot and test.

Start/run and type in regsvr32 COMCTL32.OCX and then press enter.

This is not an XP problem but a problem with your companys website. The fact
they tell you to delete security pacthes in unbelivable, tell them to fix
the site instead.

This is a script error on the website and it shoudl be an easy fix if you
some people hired that know what they are doing, unfortunately a lot of
people working in that area really have no clue as to what they are doing.
