windows xp error checking

Hi All,

Ive a question to ask. I have just finished to run Windows XP error checking
and my laptop rebooted. Its all fine, however when I go online the images and
te texts are distorted and not centred and I cant even read some words?

Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Open Display Properties, Settings tab, and increase the screen
resolution slide. Also increase the color quality to 16 bit or higher.
If more resolution isn't available, you'll need to reinstall the
drivers for the graphics card. To do that, click Advanced button,
Adapter tab, Properties button, Driver tab, Update (or Roll Back) Driver.
