Windows XP Dumb Terminal

Is it at all possible to have a windows xp machine as a dumb terminal.
Basically i don't want to allow anyone to logon locally to the machine.
Instead when it boots up could it initialize some sort of remote connection
to a terminal server so they log straight onto that.
