Windows XP domain at login gone

I cannot log into my computer.
It asks for the User and password but not the Domain.
When I enter the User and password.
It comes up and asks for the domain.
it will not let me enter the domain.
No option for it???

And the options button doesn't show you the domain field? If not, sounds
like you or someone removed the computer from the domain and into a
workgroup....you'll need the local admin credentials specified when WinXP
was set up.

trying to understand what you have meant by

since the login screen does not come up and ask
during login, so where is this happening ?
