windows XP and PGP 8.1

Does anyone use PGP 8.1 w/ their XP os? We just upgraded to XP and now we
have PGP Keys that are invalid - yet they were trusted before.

I've heard that PGP needs 9.x at least to run on XP - does anyone know?
