Windows XP and Outlook 2003

If I select an email address from an email in my in-box to send to I get the
following error message:

Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not
properly installed.

It is a bit frustrating because it comes up behind Outlook so I have to shut
Outlook down to see the error message, close the message and re-start Outlook
to work around. Anyways, I found the following solution but I can't find
"URL:MailTo Protocol" when I o to Internet Explorer/Tools Menu/FolderOptions

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/312346
On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
On the File Types tab, click URL:MailTo Protocol under the (NONE) section,
and then click Advanced.

Thanks in advance for your help....

There is no "Folder Options" item in _Internet Explorer's_ Tools menu. You
need to use _Windows_ Explorer or the Folder Options applet in Control Panel.

Brian,

I meant Windows Explorer. (none) URL: MailTo Protocol is not listed. There
is a (none) URL: CallTo Protocol listed but I don't believe that is what I am
looking for accrding to the link I referred to below.

Thanks for catching my reference mistake.
