Windows XP Activation

I activated windows when I first purchased computer in
2001. I had to reactivate windows a second time earlier
this year when I had new hard drive installed. An
operator had to assist me with that activation. I
recently had to restore my factory settings due to memory
card went bad and I had a new one installed. When I
tried to reactive windows a third time, I cannot seem to
get anywhere. The telephone option is 100% automated and
doesn't allow for my type of situation. Can anyone out
there help me with this problem? I surely would
appreciate the assistance.

There are only two ways to activate Windows XP. If you
are unable to activate via the internet, then you'll have to
use the alternative option to "activate by telephone" to obtain
a new activation code (free of charge).

It ought to. If it is asking for options, assume you are essentially
installing on the same (substantially the same) hardware
