windows xp 64 bit

can anyone tell me if a 64 bit version of a microsoft visual c++ compiler is
available, so that my current 32 bit application can be recompiled and run
native on the xp-64 os with a 64 bit proccessor? thanks!

Not sure why you are being redicted to a 64 bit Windows group when your
question is about compilers. Visual Studio 2005 will include this support,
but it is just now entering beta 2 stage. In the meantime, this article

Maybe a little wild goose chase would teach the OP to do a little
research first so that their posts go to the appropriate group. If they
are smart enough to program code, then they should be smart enough to
find the appropriate NG to ask their questions in.
