Not to sure if this is the right group but will ask
anyway. Does anyone know when the 64 bit version of XP
Pro will be available to the general public. I know it
(the 64bit version) has only been available to premier
customer I.E. corporate customers?

Also if this is the wrong group can someone kindly sent
me in the right direction without to much chastising?

Thanks TecKing

I'm not an expert, but the information available by Microsoft at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/64bit/howtobuy/default.asp doesn't
suggest there are any sort of restrictions. Suggest you contact
Microsoft in your country.

Do you consider a $4000 computer "affordable performance?" Great marketing
HP. I have no clue why I'd want this, and use an OS that probably isn't
compatible with anything.

"The HP workstation zx2000, based on the new Low Voltage Intel® Itanium® 2
processor, is an ideal platform for software developers and others seeking
affordable performance." (hp.com)

You have a great point about HP's new marketing ploy.
Really does the little guy have any chance in this
world. Or am I just stalling the inevitable(Flipping
burgers at BK or MickyD's :)
