WINDOWS WILL NOT START

Dave M

I recently set up my computer that came with windows XP
already installed. After the computer did a windows
update it went to restart. Well the computer went through
the boot process and then the windows XP logo with scan
bar showed up, but then a blue screen flashed quickly and
the computer restarted again. Now my computer just keeps
booting, beeping & restarting and windows never actually
starts up. I even tried starting in safe and all the
other start options i was given and still had the same
result. My only thought now is that if anyone knows how i
can get to the C prompt by pressing something during start
up maybe i can do a system restore through DOS. Any help
would be appreciated. I'd really like to be able to use
my computer some time soon.

Thanks,

Dave M
