Windows Vista user connection to Server 2003

I have 3 computers running Windows XP and one computer running Vista. The
user names and passwords defined in the server are identical to the user
names and passwords at each local computer. When a user logs on to a local
computer, they then have access to the server.

I have another Vista machine that I am adding to the network. I have defined
the user name and password identical to a user name an password defined in
the server, but after logging in to the local computer, when trying to access
any locations on the server, the window pops up asking for login name and
password. After entering the correct login name and password access is
granted to the server, and access is then fine until restarting the local
computer.

What can I do so the new Vista machine will also be logged in to the server
once the correct user name and password is entered at the new local machine?

From what I can tell, the existing Vista machine is set up as a 32 bit
system, and the new Vista machine is set up as a 64 bit system. I don't know
why, they came from Dell this way, and I don't know if it matters to this
issue.

Which editions of Vista? Home? Business? Ultimate?

The new computer I am having the issue with has Vista Home Premium.

The existing Vista machine that has been and is working has Vista Ultimate.

That is normal for home versions of Windows connecting to a server. Ultimate
has the same networking capabilities as Business.
