windows vista upgrade advisor script errors

hi when i run wvua all i see is a normal window, with pure text in it. and
when i try to press Start Scan 2 script erros appear! i've formatted my pc
and installed XP again but it still happens. What can i do? is anyone having
the same Problem?

Did you install .Net framework v. 2? That's needed for the upgrade advisor.

yes, the program won't even install without framework am msxml! i also have
the latest java machine.
