Windows Vista SP2

I am planning on upgrading to Windows Vista, but ther is going to be a
SP2 early 2008. What I want to know is should I wait. If I buy know
will I be charged for SP2

Ok SP1 then. Microsoft have allready anounced it early next year.

Also no major additions or enhancements in SP1. It is mostly a compilation
of the various released updates, fixes, etc..

I would wait a bit on Windows Vista. They probably will come out with
a service pack in 2008, even though officially they haven't said so
(bad for business).

NO. Sometime in the first quarter of 2008 there will be a release of Vista
SP1. (Not SP2.)

Service Packs are free and don't cost money. They are just a compilation
of all the security and bug fixes that you download now from Microsoft
Update. No reason to wait for SP1.
