windows Vista Serial Number

I just bought a new computer, with vista installed, but now it shows me a
message telling me this:
"Please insert your serial number or Windows will stop working in 3 days"
Then i've typed the correct one, and the same baloon saying that still apears.
Then i type it again and it says me this:
"that serial numer is already being used"

What should i do?

Just phone Microsoft to start.
You should be entitled to some free support for a newish license.

Call whoever you bought it from immediately and have them make it right.
