I heard from a beta tester at work that if a current fix does'nt solve
vista issues that microsoft was going to recall this o/p system and give
money back to those who purchased it. also said most of bussinesses have
stopped using it as well and gone back to the old windows xp. any truth to
this? they also said old computers won't run vista as old hardware doesn't
have security built into them for vista to run correctly please advise as I
was going to switch over to it next year on my 3yr old computer according to
there web site my computer has no pending issues that need to be fixed before
having it loaded onto my desktop. Thanks for any responses.

Nope. No recall. Some businesses are sticking with XP, as it works fine. No
reason to jump to XP right now. Many businesses did the same with XP and
2000.

Old computers won't run Vista as well because the hardware specs (RAM, CPU,
etc) aren't up to spec. Nothing to do with security.

Your beta tester at work hasn't done much research. What are the specs of
your computer. We can help you as to how it will perform and what you need
to upgrade (if anything). We all have machines of various hardware, and some
have lower end hardware, and others have top of the line hardware (I'm
jealous!).

That should be quite interesting for us that have new pc's with vista.
I bet trying to roll back to XP from my setup now would be a right laugh
not.

You must be a regular at trash dot. You're no novice at trolling are you.
They will recall all linux for reverse engineering by LT before they
recall one Windows OS.
Nice try but no cigar.
Idiot.

Sounds like an urban myth that only stupid people would take seriously (not
referring to you, but to the "beta tester").

That is amazing because when I was walking across the Microsoft campus, I
ran into a beta tester and he mentioned that gasoline will be going down to
$2.25 a gallon!
