Windows Vista RC1 & Media Center Not Working At All!

OK So I've downloaded the new RC1 of Vista and installed it with a valid
Product Key and everything, but now I am getting an error when loading Media
Center saying that "The configuration settings for your region could not be
determined, please reboot and try again" which I have done several times and
still no luck.

Is this something that someone has come accross or that anyone is aware of
how to fix?

I'm having the same problem. And I'm a computer dunce, so I have no idea if
there's a resolution.

try "run as administrator" on the media center link, it works for me ....

Yes exactly - good answer - run as administrator and it will reconfigure
media center
