the fn key doesnt work because you dont have drivers installed for it. if
you cant control brightness in the bios, and theres no driver for your
laptop/keyboard, theres nothing you can do

theres nothing you can do

HEHEEEEE! see what I mean... hilarious! Troy give the newbie's a break..
don't lie misguide and distort everything all the time... give some truth
from time to time
or else they will catch on to you!

Tell me do is all your posts truly all your original work, or do you have a
writing team behind you?

We should make a fan site .... I bet you will have newbie teen girls chasing
you like a rock star!

huh? wow you really are dumb. have you ever owned a laptop? the FN keys that
control brightness wont work if the OS doesnt have the right driver... is
that over your head? my thinkpad didnt work for a while... just got the
latest driver, all works fine. see how that works?

ok first things first i am no noob kids just cant find drivers for my laptop
and no i cant turn it down on the bios ive tried everything thats why im
using this post you dumb shits if i wanted a smart ass reply i would have ask
for one ....... thanks alot dennis i must have missed the us site maybe you
other tools should be more like him cheers cyas

you should try going to your start menu, then click on 'control panels', and
then on the top right, type in the search box 'brightness' and it should
bring you to the windows mobility center (adjust screen brightness). There
you can adjust the screen to be a little brighter. Your FN key should work,
try holding it down at the same time when hold down the up and down
keys(which should have a pic. of a sun) if the FN key doesn't work, you
should get the computer checked out, especially if you have a warranty on it
still
