Windows Vista Home Premium Areo Desktop

I have just bought a new laptop with the home premium operating system
installed..I would like to know how to get the Areo desktop program(3D flip
through programs running) to work,,,don't know how to set this up and how to
use it...can anyone help...

Aero should run by default. A number of issues may lead to Aero being
disabled, such as:

- You have not activated in time/your Vista copy is not genuine.
- Your computer does not meet hardware and DirectX requirements.
- You have installed some old software (games in particular) that have
caused Aero to shut down.

Oh, activation is required before Aero will function? I haven't activated
my copy of Ultimate yet because I'm still considering whether to go with the
32 or 64 bit version...I guess this means I'll have to wait and see what Aero
looks like until after I choose. :(

Aero runs by default when you install Vista. If your Vista copy is not
genuine or you fail to activate on time, Aero may be turned off. (You will
receive a lot of nags as well.) If you never saw Aero work on the computer
in question, the problem is something different than a lacking activation.
