Windows Updates Error 80244018

I find it utterly amazing that there is no explanation of
this error code after searching the Microsft site !

Updates has failed on my PC with the Error Code 80244018
but I'm no wiser as to why or what to do about it.

Does anyone have any ideas please ?

I am still struggling with the updates issue. I installed SP2 and have not
received any updates since it was installed on September 6. I would assume
there have been updates......does anyone know? I am at the point where I
will call Tech. Support but I can't find their telephone number. Does anyone
know that?

Unless .Net Framework is installed on the SP2 computer, no critical
updates is relevant for SP2 so far.
