Windows update

I have installed the Security Update for Windows XP
(KB835732)12 times, and it stall isn't recognizing that
it has been installed. The first install was May 14, and
the second was May 20. Apparently the security patch is
not installing correctly. It does not prompt me to shut
down, but I have tried restarting the computer as well.
Is there anything I need to check?

Hi, go into XP help and support there are settings on the
left which will allow you to remove components
(downloads) which you don't want, look for that update
and remove it from the list (if it's still there) along
with others you don't want. That should stop the updater
from asking you to do that one in particular. Go in to
the control panel add/remove programs and see how many
times that update is there, not sure but I would think
you can attempt to uninstall all but one of the 12.

there is a bug in that update... any problems and uninstall
it and run a firewall for protection from microsofts sasser
worm. thanks to bill gates for that worm.
