Can Windows Update be run in Safe Mode with Networking somehow? I tried and
it won't open. This is Vista Home Premium.

Windows Update cannot be run while in Safe Mode.
If you are having problems with Windows Update,

I have read about some body downloading Updates, put them on a Disc
and install them on other computer. I don't know how it works do
