I have downloaded the Windows XP Service Pack 1a and
burned it on to a CD. I have tried running it on my home
computer and get as far as the first page of the set up
where I get thrown out of the setup program and a meesage
appears on the screen which reads "Setup could not verify
the integrity of the file Update.inf Make sure the
Crytographic service is running on this computer."

Can anyone let me know how I can overcome this. I ahve
been trying for weeks to get this update, but I have been
met with frustration at every turn. All help gratefully
received

1. Go in to the Start Menu > Run.
2. Type Services.msc in the run command and click ok
3. In the services window find the service that says "Cryptographic
Services". Right Click on this and select Start from the menu
4. Try this again and it should work.
