I am running a Dell Dimension 4400. I am having trouble with the windows update, any time it tries to install updates, it will download them ok and as soon as it starts installing the update the computer will restart. It doesn't matter if I use the website, the update client built into windows, or if they are installing when I turn off the computer, it will always restart in the middle. I have tried to see if it is limited to specific updates, but it seems to be any and all of them that I try to install. I have tried to uninstall SP2 and that seemed to work, because I could install any update, untill I reinstalled SP2, then I started having the same problem again. Any ideas?
