windows update server for closed domain ?

Can someone point me to the right location for documentation for setting
up a SERVER for windows updates (w2k pros), that i can download all
patches to, and then point individual w2k pro's to go for their updates?

As we run (106) locations, and do not allow ftp or http from sites?

Can this be done?

yes, set up a windows server 2k and install SUS server, then let that server
go out on the internet(windowsupdate) and get the updates, U can then in ur
GP set clients to get patches from that server!! good luck! :D
