Just last week, Windows Update changed to tiny letters. I can barely read it anymore! For years (ever since Windows 98) I have been able to read Windows Update. Now suddenly the font is tiny. What happened?

Hi

Have you tried View>Text Size>Medium? Or if you have a scrolling mouse,
hold down the Ctrl key and roll the wheel towards you.

Well, yes I could do that. But then all other web pages have type that looks enormous. I would have to make it Medium for Windows Update only and then change back, each time I went to Windows Update. But it never used to be like that. Up until last week I could view Windows Update without having to change the text size. What happened to make things different?

Hi

Medium is the default font size. You could try a System Restore back to a
point before the problem started. Have you installed any 3rd party programs
that may have interfered with the font size?

No third party software or updates to same (aside from virus and spyware updates). Only Windows Update updates. Something else is causing this. I've been viewing Windows Updates on the 'smallest' setting since Windows 98 days. Now, as of last week, I can't.

Just switched my view size from 'smallest' to 'small'. It's a good compromise (for me) since I can read everything now. Maybe it's finally time for bi-focals (or progressives.) Thanks for your help.
