windows update for XP and mandatory use of XP2 question

As I understand it after some date in April we won't be able to use
windows update unless we allow it to apply SP2.

WTF is a dialup user supposed to do ?

I know several people that still use modems to get on the internet
and the MS update service has been pretty good for them but
how are they supposed to d/l SP2 ?
 
Also, check at your local Best Buy, Office Depot, CompUSA, or other similar
stores. Microsoft distributed a massive number of cd's for giveaway at a
lot of retail outlets. Anyone who has the cd can copy it freely for you or
you can simply borrow theirs and use it. Microsoft encourages this.
