Windows update error 80070103 - Beta 2 Vista NVIDIA Driver Update

I am trying to install some nvidia driver updates to my computer. But when I
select install I get the following error message:

Failed: 1 update
Error(s) found:
Code 80070103

The update is for

NVIDIA driver update for NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 100/200

Is it possible to find the cache or download area where these updates are
kept and manually install them?

Any help would be welcomed.

I too have the same error message. when installing the NVIDIA Download to
NVIDIA Ge Force 7600 GS (Microsoft Corporation-WDDM). I thought that I had
uninstalled the old driver as instructed by NVIDIA Corporation, but
apparently something was left of the old programme in the memory, perhaps I
should uninstall again and try re-installing. What does anyone suggest.

I have the same problem with my geforce go 7600. While googling for the
problem I found out that the code 80070103 stands for "Windows has determined
that the selected driver is not the best driver for your machine." I think
that's rather ironic.

I am sorry I should have replied before. I contacted NVIDIA and explained my
dilemma. They replied almost by return and told me exactly how to find the
proper drivers by directing me to the proper websites. It was painless and
successful. I only wish that other suppliers and enablers were as helpful and
efficient. You can contact Nividia on their website. Pierhead
