Windows Time Keeping

Ben

I have an AD system with only one W2K Server as the DC and
another as a proxy (set in a WG).
There is an ADSL access router in the mix.
Big problem; The DC gains 5 minutes every day. The one in
the WG doesn't.
I have been through all the technet/google articles and
other 3rd-party stuff, re-reconfigured the DC w32time
system but still, it picks up 5 minutes everyday.
Is it a problem with the BIOS? (I'm using an IBM).
Any suggestions are welcome on how to resolve this.

while windows is running the bios time shouldn't matter. have you let it
run a couple days? is w32time syncing to a good outside source? is it
REALLY syncing, do you see the events in the viewer?? if i remember right
w32time is 'supposed' to resync a couple times the first day or two and
adjust the clock rate then resync daily after that.
