I am running xp pro on a gateway 600 laptop. a few weeks
ago i noticed i was not able to access the task manager.
when using the keyboard 3 key shortcut (ctrl+alt+del) or
right clicking on the bottom blue bar, it looks like the
the task manager window will show up because the little
icon in the bottom right corner appears for about 2
seconds, but then the icon disappears. no matter how
many times i try to get the window to appear, it only
stays for a short second or two, then its gone. whats
going on? feel free to ask anything if i have not been
clear, and thanks in advance for any help.
