windows\system32\config\system file is missing.

I keep getting this error when deploying an XP image to
other computers. I'm using Sysprep and deploying images
from and to the same HAL. I get this error every time
unless I image back to the original pc.

Nobody wants to tackle this? Ok more details? Imaging XP
with SP2, FAT32, dual boot with Dos 7 on C, NTLDR-
NTDECTECT, BOOT.INI all on C, updated and configured
properly with 3rd party system, The registry is quite
small as there are no applications installed on this base
image, I'm running sysprep -reseal -mini, create the base
image, deploy it to other systems with this answer file:

I boot to either a blank black screen, reboot, and then
try last known good configuration which says
windows\system32\config\SYSTEM is missing or corrupt or on
certain models it will just freeze up. I've tried renaming
and copying over the SYSTEM hive, no dice. I'm not sure
what to try next...

Any ideas? All input is appreciated

Also, I can get this to image back down on the same model
perfectly. On other models there is a process that copies
down all drivers to the drivers directory and
subdirectories. Again, this method worked flawlessly with
Win2k, only XP is giving me a problem.
