Windows suddenly restarts without warning

I've had this problem wtih my computer for a while now.
I have reinstalled a clean version of Windows 2000 PRO
twice already and I still have this problems.
1. Windows suddenly restarts without warning especially
when starting up.
2. Also, when shutting windows down, when it turns off, it
automatically turns on again and again..I've tried using
the button on the tower and it still keeps restarting.

I looked through the knowledge base and found nothing
relating to my problem.
Anyone have any ideas as to what is happening?

It sounds like your mobo is going bad. You might want to disable the ACPI
in the bios to see if that makes a difference.
