Windows Stop after replacing motherboard

Windows XP Pro terminates booting with stop C0000415.

Motherboard and 1GB memory have been replaced (it was said
short circuit on the board or memory bank). The type of
the board is the same, ASUS P4Pe/RL, may be BIOS is
different, if I correctly remember. The problem causes
Radeon 9000 graphics card driver from ATI. By booting with
installed display driver, windows excuses for
inconvenience and suggests to select safe mode, usual mode
or the last correct state - it's already a sign of a
problem. When selecting usual mode, it stops and starts
memory dump. In a safe mode, Windows can be booted and
after de-installing display driver from ATI, windows can
be booted in a normal mode, but with VGA driver. The
double display functionality and multiple desktops are
lost.

I have upgraded Windows, downloaded the latest version of
a driver from ATI, serached searched for info on Asus home
page. Nothing helps.

Any sugestions are appreaciated very much !

I did a Google search on C0000415, and found more than a handful of
references to the problem you describe....

Looks like there were two different solutions, depending of a few
factors....

This one seems more likely to me, given that they too have an Asus Mobo, a
Radeon Card, and the latest drivers....
The 3rd post from the bottom describes what they did to fix it....

Another one involves changing your AGP bus speed... (slower - so hopefully
this isn't the one for you)

I cannot offer anything specific to help, as I have an MSI mobo, and a
Geforce video card.

Good luck,
