I have a 2.6mhz 256mbs ram 40 gig hard drive, I installed
some new software for my kids and it has seened to really
slow down the start up process. I have tried to take out
some of the programs and it still starts up slow, does
anyone have any ideas of what I am doing wrong

Try Start->Programs->Startup->delete few of the programs
you don't need. That doesn't uninstall the programs but
the programs won't just start automatically everytime you
run your computer.

Ok the only thing in my startup folder is Microsoft
Office 2000 and RAMASST which I had in there before all
this happened. Anything else?
