Windows SP2 Setup Error

While attempting to install SP 2 from CD, after extraction,
during initialization search, error received: "Setup could
not verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure
Cryptographic service is running on this computer."

The Cryptographic service is running normally. Can anyone
help with this problem.
