Windows Sidebar

I'm wondering why Windows Sidebar did not come installed on my new Dell
laptop with Vista Premium. It came with the crappy Google Desktop installed,
instead. Is there ANY way possible to get Windows Sidebar?

It should be there but maybe not turned on.

XX,

In the start menu type Windows Sidebar in the search box. The program
should appear and double click it and it will ask if you if you want to
replace the Google side bar. Worked for me on a Dell laptop with Windows
Basic.
