Windows server 2003

Is is possible to perform a full installation of server 2003 if you run the
setup under 2000 server? In other words, I have 2000 server in place and
running and want to move to server 2003 but the install cd won't boot and the
option of installing from a Win 98 boot disk and prompt has not been
succesful.
 
What happens when you try? Is the CD-Rom a copy?
