doesn't eat memory, windows explorer and internet explorer do, all
windows xtra stability does is set a registry option to run windows
explorer, desktop, and internet explorer in separate memory locations.
whats your pick ? stability or memory? i prefer stability.

Sure i also prefere stability. btw i still experiment a few crashes
with locate32, while shuting down, the program. it's not frequent,
but when it happens then there is no way to kill the process,
else than reboot.

some apps are going to crash windows no matter what. but running
desktop, windows explorer, and internet explorer s separate proceses
tends to minimize this a bit.

so do i but not every one feels comfortable in editing the registry

Stable Windows

First:
- You need more then 128MB of RAM
- By doing this you will take a speed hit and Windows will use more
RAM, think for yourself what's more important for you; speed or
stability?

Follow this steps:

1)Open My Computer.
2)Click on Tools.
3)Click on Folder Options.
4)Click on the View Tab.

Scroll down the list and locate "Launch folder windows in a separate
process" Put a check in that box and click Ok.

By doing this, each window uses it's own memory. So the idea is, if
each window is allotted it's own resources and for some reason it
crashes it hopefully will not effect other windows.
