Windows Search

[Deb in Tx]

Since a few weeks ago every time I click to open a folder I get a windows
search window. Upon right-clicking the folder I see Search as the top
option, followed by open. I did not purposely change this, but suspect it
came with some updates I received.

Anyhow, what's important is I hate it and need to know how to stop or get
rid of it. I tried folder options, but that's not it.

Go to Add/Remove programs and remove Windows Search 4.0

What's odd is Windows search is not in Add/Remove Programs.

No. in my case the search opens every time I Single-Click any file, and I am
unable to uninstall the windows search because it doesn't show up in
Add/Remove Programs.
