Windows Search pops up when I try to open files

Since a few weeks ago every time I click to open a folder I get a windows
search window. Upon right-clicking the folder I see Search as the top
option, followed by open. I did not purposely change this, but suspect it
came with some updates I received.

How do I either disable or get rid of it?

No, Search Opens when I Single-Click a folder. I can't uninstall Windows
Search because it isn't showing up in Add/Remove Programs
