When using the search tool located under the Start menu, is there a way, and
what is the correct format, to search for multiple files/key words at the
same time?

Example: I want to search for the following key words: File 1, File 2. In
what format would I type this into my keyword search? File 1;File 2 or File
1,File 2 or File 1; File 2 or File 1, File 2, etc.

Thanks in advance for all your prompt responses.

Give this a try; search for File

This will bring up all files that have File in the file name, i.e.,

Housefile
Car File
File
Files
File for license
File4school

File 1 and File 2 were being used as variables and the files I am searching
for do not necessarily have the exact words "File 1" and "File 2" within the
documents.

Second example: lets say I am searching for all files that contain the key
words "red" OR "elephant" (that is, the files need only contain one of the
key words and not both to be returned as a result, but files containing both
would produce a search result as well).

How do I create a single search for all files containing either of these key
words?

Thanks again.

Try following:
lethal OR justice
